The fruits are large, the weight of one fruit can reach 500 g. Tomatoes have few seeds, the skin rarely cracks, the flesh is dense and sweet.

Lorraine Beauty tomatoes are grown in open ground. If the weather does not allow, the plant is planted in a greenhouse: there it bears fruit better and the skin is thinner, but if there is not enough space in the greenhouse, this is a tomato that can be planted in the field or in pots.

After 60 days, the seedlings are transplanted into open ground or a greenhouse. A distance of about half a meter is left between them.

A little later, the bushes must be tied to strong stakes. Side shoots and lower leaves are regularly removed from tomatoes.

The seedlings are heat-loving, for germination a temperature above 25°C is required, therefore tomatoes are most often grown in greenhouses. . This variety requires regular watering and feeding with mineral and phosphorus-containing fertilizers, but the result is worth it.
